Where are the Toxin rid reviews from?

The toxin rid reviews  on this page were collected from two, independent, well-known websites, not under the control of the manufacturers or competitors:

  • BBB (Better Business Bureau)
Note, reviews were first taken in June 2024 since when the page on BBB has been removed, last checked 1st October 2024. Luckily, Archive.org, has a copy here https://www.bbb.org/us/wa/redmond/profile/drug-testing/toxin-rid-1296-1000100290/customer-reviews

  • TrustPilot (a well-known and trusted international review website) - Still available as of October 2024.

BBB (Better Business Bureau) Toxin Rid Reviews

Summary of reviews:

On BBB  (June 2024, see note above) there was one positive review about Toxin Rid that says it works, out of 20 reviews listed, many of which say it doesn't.

We’re ignoring the many 1 and 2 star reviews for shipping here that are about lack of refunds for lost or under supplied and out of date products.

For this section, we’re more interested in if the product is reported to work or not.

Toxin Rid product usage reviews.

Here are a series of reviews on Toxin Rid that cover the various levels of detox the course is supposed to cover.

Toxin Rid 10 day detox Reviews

Amanda says she stopped being exposed to toxins a week before starting the detox using Toxin rid. She then took a course, which she says cost over $200 and looks as if it must be the ‘10 Day Extreme Ultra Cleanse’ detox tablets at $189.95 plus shipping.

After 13 days, she still tested positive for toxin.

Toxin Rid 10 day detox Review, with 14 days clear beforehand

'Upset C' reported that after 10 days usage and 14 days of no toxins before treatment, the toxin rid product did not work, even 45 days after exposure to toxins.

She says:

‘Ordered the 10 day program for heavy toxins. I quit completely 14 days before starting it.
Did the toxin rid detox exactly as directed and
am now on day 45 of being clean and still testing positive.’

Toxin Rid 5 day detox Review

Brian P says he wished he could have a zero star to give for the review as a 5 day detox didn’t work.

As far as whether the toxin rid worked, he said the following:

‘DO NOT TAKE THIS. It does not work.
I took the 5 day (added 2 days worth based on the 'calculator'
and I read and followed their instructions EXACTLY, and
tested positive with the very first test strip they gave me.’

‘… I did the 7 day detox program... I still tested positive’

Toxin Rid Review – 75 tablet detox

Miranda A reported

‘This kit did not clear all "toxins" from my body and I was never able to pass a test,
and now I cannot get my money back. It's honestly just a hoax.’

TrustPilot Toxin Rid reviews.

There are three one star reviews on TrustPilot out of a total of three reviews at the time of writing this article (June 4th 2024).

Again, we’re ignoring the two 1 star reviews for the shampoo usage and poor customer service.

Toxin Rid Review – 10 day detox

John took a Toxin Rid 10 day detox and found he was still positive for toxins:

After a further batch and 25 days in total, he was found to have lowered his toxin level sufficiently.

He said:

‘Purchased the 10 day detox for $189, completed my cleanse step by step to the T. Took my home test and failed.’

He further noted:
‘...they offered me 50% off a second 10 day flush and I figured maybe my system was overloaded and needed another kit. Was just trying to get clean as fast as possible. Finished that kit and yes I was clean but that’s after 25 days including shipping time.
I probably would have been clean without wasting the first $189 and the second $95 kit.

Toxin rid review of reported side-effects

We’re reviewing the use of tablets to rid your body from toxins here, so comments here ignore shampoo use.

From the reviews, it seems to be a clear pattern that if you take these detox tablets, you may be in for a rough few days of upset lower intestines and potentially diarrhoea.

Why risk making yourself sick detoxifying?

'Why put a detox treatment into my body that may not work?'

Amanda found that toxin rid caused her some intestinal issues.

She reported toxin rid was

‘extremely hard on your intestines’

Cameron reported did the 7 day detox program.

He says
‘I spent most of it having liquid diarrhoea and in moderate pain.’

Miranda reported being made to feel quite unwell by the tablets:

She said:
‘it made me very ill and deficient in important vitamins’
although there is no proof regarding the vitamins.

Ameriki J reported it making her fiancé sick for a week,

she said:
‘their product is GARBAGE and made my fiancé sick as a dog for a week.’

Why can Toxin Rid give you diarrhoea?

Looking at the Toxin Rid ingredients, it isn’t surprising that so many of the Toxin Rid reviews speak of getting issues like diarrhoea. The Toxin Rid product uses ‘psyllium husk powder’ as its listed ingredient

The listed ingredient, psyllium husk powder, has a known laxative effect, and in fact the packaging also warns of this!

Listed known side-effects include:
  • Bloating
  • Diarrhea
  • Gas
  • Nausea
  • Stomach pain
Not great, is it!?

Overall Toxin Rid Reviews Conclusion

  • The reviews on BBB highlight significant issues with Toxin Rid products and the company’s customer service.

  • Some customers reported that the products were ineffective, and many experienced some moderate to bad side effects.

  • The company’s responses to complaints often involve deflecting blame and not honoring money-back guarantees.

  • A few positive reviews indicate that the product may work for some individuals, but the overwhelming sentiment is one of dissatisfaction and caution against purchasing Toxin Rid products.
